"5 months ago I never thought I would play football this year" - Rashford

Marcus Rashford has taken to his page to appreciate his fans for standing by him following the past few months. 

Recall that the forward initially ruled out of the season after he suffered a back injury against Wolverhampton in January, but the coronavirus pandemic break saw he recover and came back strong when the season restarted. 

He tweeted: "5 months ago I would have never believed I would have been able to see this season out. I’m grateful that I have. To the fans, thank you for always getting behind us at a time when it wasn’t always easy. We’re back where we’re supposed to be ♥️"
