Watford clinch a crucial 2-1 victory over Newcastle to boost their survival chances, thanks to a Deeney brace, with both goals coming from the penalty spot.
The visitors led 1-0 at the break, however, Newcastle never really got going in the second half and conceded the first penalty early on, after Ritchie brought down Femenia, which Deeney converted.
Watford pushed on and created numerous chances, with Deeney and Welbeck both going close.
However, it was another spot-kick that made the difference, with Manquillo fouling Sarr, allowing Deeney to step up once again and secure the three points for Watford.
This win for Watford moves them six points ahead of Bournemouth who in the final relegation spot and they play tomorrow.
Next up for the Hornets is a trip to West Ham. Meanwhile Newcastle remain 13th and they face Tottenham next time out at St James' Park.
