Zidane Release Squad ahead of Getafe Clash, Eden Hazard is out

Real Madrid fans were stunned after their star man is set to miss a crucial game on Thursday night.

Real Madrid boss, Zinedine Zidane announced his 24-man squad for Thursday night's match against Getafe at the Estadio Alfredo Di Stefano.

It's been gathered that Eden Hazard didn't make the squad to feature for Los Blancos.

It's understood that Zidane has been easing Hazard back to match day games after the Belgium is recovering from ankle surgery.

Real Madrid will welcome the duo of Lucas Vazquez and Luka Jovic back to the squad. They have recovered from their respective injuries.

Defenders: Dani Carvajal, Eder Militao, Sergio Ramos, Raphael Varane, Marcelo, Ferland Mendy.

Forwards: Karim Benzema, Gareth Bale, Lucas Vazquez, Luka Jovic, Marco Asensio, Brahim Diaz, Mariano Diaz, Vinicius Junior, Rodrygo Goes.

Just so you know, Real Madrid have a chance to move four points clear ahead of second placed Barcelona who are in 70 points after a 2-2 draw against Celta Vigo on Tuesday.
