The away side took the lead just before half-time, Giovanni Simeone (Cagliari) right footed shot from outside the box to the centre of the goal. He was assisted by Artur Ionita.
Three minutes into the second half, Lazio equalised, Sergej Milinkovic-Savic (Lazio) right footed shot from outside the box to the top right corner made it 1-1.
Finally, the comeback was complete when Ciro Immobile (Lazio) left footed shot from the left side of the box to the bottom right corner. It came from an assist by Luis Alberto with a through ball.
