Sheffield United star, David McGoldrick has revealed racist abuse he was sent on Instagram after 3-0 win against Chelsea

Sheffield United playmaker, David McGoldrick has reveal the vile racist abuse he has received on social media.

Recall that Crystal Palace Wilfried Zaha, who on Sunday posted the messages he was sent on Instagram, with a 12-year-old boy later being arrested by police.

McGoldrick wrote '2020 and this is life' alongside the screenshot, which showed the message sent directly to him by a user called 'mma_notorious_mma'.

The disgusting abuse reads: 'You f****** dirty n*****. Your n***** life defo [sic] doesn't matter. F*** you ya [sic] bold [sic] c*** WHERE WERE YOU WHEN YOU PLAYED MAURE [Manchester United] YOU F****** S*** APE.'

McGoldrick scored a brace against Chelsea which helped Sheffield United to a dominant 3-0 win.
