Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo has been named Premier League manager of the month for June.

This comes after Wolves recorded three wins in a row without conceding a goal.

The Portuguese boss took the opportunity to recognise his staff who have been working hard in getting players fit again ahead of the season restart

The 46-year-old was voted as the winner of the award by supporters, ahead of Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, Chelsea manager Frank Lampard and Newcastle's Steve Bruce.

In a picture posted on the club's Twitter account, Espirito Santo stood proudly at the back of the group of six staff members who played a key role in the club's preparations to return to Premier League action after months of football suspension during the coronavirus pandemic.
This included analyst Tom Male, who is responsible for overseeing GPS tracking in the first team, club doctor Matthew Perry and soft tissue therapist Matt Wignall - who stood in the centre of the picture holding the award.
