Barcelona fans endured a season which saw their club finish without a trophy. The Camp Nou outfit lost their La Liga title defense which was eventually claimed by Real Madrid.
Barcelona board decided to switch plans as Ernesto Valverde was sacked as the club appointed former Real Betis coach, Quique Setién.
Setien was criticized many times due to his side performance in games as results didn't go their way.
All went sour when Bayern Munich exposed the crises in the squad after a 8-2 thrashing in the quarter final clash of Champions League.
The result saw the board confirm the sack of Quique Setien.
It's also been reported that Barcelona are set to sell a number of senior players in the squad.
According to Foot Mercato, Luis Suarez has been suggested to leave the Camp Nou. Reports claims that a move back to Ajax is on the table for the Uruguayan international.
Although Suarez is still left with 12 months left on his current contract but the club might decide to cash in on him given his age.
Recall that he spent three-and-a-half seasons at Ajax after he joined in the summer of 2007. The Uruguay star moved aboard to join Liverpool in January 2011.
Suarez was a proven goal scorer at the Amsterdam outfit with record of 111 goals in 159 matches.
