Young signed for Italian Serie A club Inter Milan on 17 January 2020 for the remainder of the 2019–20 season, with an option to extend for another season.

The English international joined from Manchester United as he scored in Inter Milan 2-0 win against Atalanta in their final game of the season.

Inter Milan finished the seson in second with a point behind winners of the Scudetto, Juventus.
