It appears that they have been a change in the dug out of Barcelona. The Spanish league club sacked to manager under one season as they ended the campaign without a trophy.
Recall that Ernesto Valverde was sacked mid way pass the 2019-20 season despite winning the double in his previous season with Barcelona.
Quique Setien came on board for the Catalan side but the results didn't change as the club continued to struggle.
Barcelona lost their La Liga trophy to Real Madrid and also crashed out of the Champions League with a humiliating defeat against Bayern Munich.
Days after the loss, Josep Bartomeu sacked Quique Setien and sporting director, Eric Abidal.
Earlier today, the club have announced the appointment of Ronald Koeman as new boss at the Camp Nou.
Barcelona also went ahead to appoint Ramon Planes as the club's new technical director.
Planes was previously Abidal's assistant, when he joined from Getafe in the summer of 2018.
It was learnt that 52-year-old previously worked at La Liga sides such as; Espanyol, Racing Santander, Alaves, Lleida, Elche and Rayo Vallecano.
