Chelsea Agree Transfer Fee For Kai Havertz With Leverkusen

Chelsea agrees with Bayer Leverkusen to sign midfielder Kai Havertz in a record signing deal worth ?90million.

It appears that Frank Lampard is on a verge of changing the personnel on his team ahead of next season.


The English coach guided the Blues to a fourth place finish at the end of the 2019-2020 season to qualify for Champions League next season.


Meanwhile, the former Chelsea player missed out in winning a silverware after a 2-1 loss to Arsenal in the FA Cup final at Wembley stadium last month.


Ahead of next season which begins in September 12, Chelsea have already signed Hakim Ziyech from Ajax and Timo Werner from RB Leipzig.


It's been reported that Chelsea are close to signing their long term target, Kai Havertz.


Mail Online reports that Chelsea have reached an agreement with Leverkusen to pay a fee of £72m plus add-ons rising to £90m  for the young play maker.

The 21-year-old is expected to fly to London to sign a five-year contract with the West London outfit.

Havertz finished the season with 18 goals and nine assists in all competitions.
