England boss, Gareth Southgate has released his 24 man squad for September’s Nations League games against Iceland and Denmark.
Southgate has blended his team selection with youth and experience. On the youth side, likes of Mason Greenwood and Dean Henderson of Manchester United, Manchester City’s Phil Foden and midfielder Kalvin Phillips from promoted Leeds, Nick Pope of Burnley were included in the squad.
In the attack for England, Tottenham striker Harry Kane of Tottenham is expected to lead the line alongwith Danny Ing who netted 25 goals for Southampton in the 2019-20 campaign
Meanwhile, Harry Maguire was handed a call up despite the Manchester United captain facing trial in Greece over alleged involvement in a violent argument in Greece.
It's been gathered that likes of Aston Villa playmaker Jack Grealish, Spurs midfielder Dele Alli, Leicester left-back Ben Chilwell, Liverpool pair Jordan Henderson and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Arsenal's Bukayo Saka are all missing from the call up.
