Europa: Solskjaer gives team news ahead of LASK Linz clash

Manchester United have resumed training at Carrington ahead of their European competition. The Red Devils are still in the Europa League as they set to host Austria side, LASK Linz.


Ole Gunnar Solskjaer still holds fate to win a trophy after he missed out in the FA Cup which was eventually won by Arsenal.

Manchester United will host LASK Linz at Old Trafford stadium on Wednesday night at 8pm GMT kick off.

The Reds Devils defeated LASK 5-0 in the first leg away from home. Juan Mata, Daniel James, Andreas Pereira and Odion Ighalo all scored in Austria.


According to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, Eric Bailly is expected to start after overcoming the head injury he sustained against Chelsea in the Emirates FA Cup semi-final.

Meanwhile, Luke Shaw, Axel Tuanzebe and Phil Jones are expected to remain on the sidelines due to injuries.


During the training on Monday, academy youngsters Teden Mengi, Ethan Laird, James Garner and Tahith Chong joined the senior players to train at Carrington.

Recall that youngster, Mengi is yet to make his senior debut for United as he was an unused substitute for the match in Kazakhstan against Astana.
