English footballer, Gareth Barry has retired from club football at the age of 39. He became the Premier League's all-time record appearance holder with 653 top-flight games.
Barry played for 22-year career, and netted 53 goals and produced 64 assists.
He also recorded 53 caps for England between 2000 and 2012, scoring three goals for the Three Lions.
The 39-year-old started off his senior career at Villa back in 1998. He featured in 432 matches for the club before signing for Manchester City in a £12million deal in 2009.
During his spell at Manchester City, Barry went on to make 175 appearances for City, netting eight times and producing 18 assists. He won the Premier League during the 2011-12 season and the FA Cup in 2011.
He played an amazing five years spell that at Manchester, he moved to Everton in 2014. He featured 155 appearances in all competitions for Toffees before joining West Brom in 2017.
