Fans of Barcelona stormed the club's sports complex following the shocking reports that their captain Lionel Messi is set to leave.

The transfer reports came as a heart break to many fans of the Camp Nou, after relationship between Messi and club's President, Josep Bartomeu broke down weeks ago.

Following the embarrassing 8-2 loss in the hands of Bayern Munich in the Champions League, Bartomeu sacked Quique Setién and sporting director Eric Abidal.

Days ago, Ronald Koeman was appointed as the club's new manager as well as a new sporting director.

But all these moves hasn't changed the mind of Lionel Messi who looked poised to join Manchester City where he can link up with his former Manager in Pep Guardiola.
According to Sky Sports, the Argentine father travelled to England to hold a meeting with Manchester City ahead of the deal.
Although, Messi has a year left in his current deal at Barcelona and he reportedly has a buy out clause of around 700m euros.
The fans came out in their numbers to protest with black cards and posters as they demand for the resignation of Bartomeu.
