Fulham defeat Brentford 2-1 after extra time to seal promotion to Premier League for 2020-21 season

Joe Bryan’s extra time brace handed Fulham a 2-1 win over Brentford in the Championship play-off final.

The deadlock was broken after Cottagers left-back Bryan caught out Bees goalkeeper David Raya with a stunning 40-yard free-kick in the 105th minute.

He got his double with a simple close-range finish after a smart one-two with Aleksandar Mitrovic in the 117th minute.

Brentford got a consolation goal through Henrik Dalsgaard late on in injury-time. 

Fulham’s second promotion to the Premier League in three seasons will see them bank £135million over the next three years.
