Jamie Vardy signs new three years extension deal with Leicester

Leicester City fans were sent into frenzy mode following the contract announcement of their star forward.
It's been gathered that the English international has ended speculation of any move away from the King Power with a contract extension.

Earlier today, the Foxes stated that Jamie Vardy has put pen to paper on a new three-year contract with Leicester City.

Recalled that Vardy joined Leicester from Fleetwood in 2012. He has since gone to write his name in the history books of Leicester with 130 goals for the Foxes in 310 appearances.

Vardy guided The Foxes to finish on fifth position with 23 league goals and ended as the 2019/20 campaign Golden Boot winner.


On his new contract, Vardy said: “The journey that I’ve been on with this football club is hard to describe, and although we’ve accomplished so much together already, I know that I’ve got so much more to achieve with this team, so it’s a special feeling to be able to commit my future to Leicester City once again.
“I love playing my football in front of our fans at King Power Stadium and I’m delighted to continue this journey at such an exciting time for the club. We’ve a fantastic team that I believe is capable of getting even better and I can’t wait to see what we can achieve together in the next few years.''

Just so you know, Jamie Vardy was instrumental to Foxes' lifting the Premier League title in 2015. He was named Premier League Player of the Season and FWA Footballer of the Year in 2015/16 .
