Jan Vertonghen signs 3 years deal with Benfica - Transfer Guru, Fabrizio Romano

Former Tottenham defender Jan Vertonghen is having a medical at Benfica on Thursday before signing a three-year deal, according to BBC.

Vertonghen, 33, ended his eight years with the Premier League club side, Spurs came to an end at the end of the season.

The Belgium international made over 300 appearances for Tottenham.

Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano has reported that the deal is set to be announced after he has inked the deal.
