KATIE Price has said she is engaged to boyfriend Carl Woods. According to her, he asked her to marry him on holiday in Turkey.

The 42-year-old star, who began been dating the former Love Islander just months ago, posted: "Omg @carljwoods just proposed to me I said yes ❤️."

She shared the startling announcement on Instagram late on Saturday night.

The caption accompanied some footage in a dark bar where they were shown with comedian friend Paul Smith and eyebrow guru Lori Callow.

Tagging them into the post, Katie suggested the event had been a double proposal, adding: "Same time as @paulisthejoker proposed to @lorscal_phibrows and she said yes ❤️."
