Lille sign Turkish forward, Burak Yılmaz as Victor Osimhen replacement

After the transfer of Victor Osimhen to Napoli for a club record fee, the French club have made an announcement of two players into the squad.

Lille have announced the signing of Burak Yılmaz and Eugenio Pizzuto . 

The 35-year-old Yilmaz has spent most of his career in Turkey and is one of a select few to have played for Fenerbahce, Besiktas and Galatasaray.

"The experienced and prolific striker and Turkish football idol has signed a two-season contract with the Lille club," Lille said in a statement.

Yilmaz has scored 24 goals in 59 international matches for Turkey and netted 13 times in 25 league games for Besiktas last season.

"I want to write a new chapter with Lille. I don't want to disappoint myself or Lille who trust me," he said.

Lille to sign 18-year-old midfielder Eugenio Pizzuto from Pachuca. Pizzuto made his first team debut with Pachuca in January, but it was a debut to forget after suffering a fracture in his leg. Regardless, Luis Campos has decided to take the plunge on him and is expected to undergo a medical later this week with the Ligue 1 club.

Lille also added ,as they announced Pizzuto , 18 deal: "🔴 Exciting Mexican midfielder Eugenio Pizzuto (18) joins us from Pachuca! Welcome, Pizzu 🇲🇽 👏"
