Mike Edwards gushes over his wife, Perri Shakes-Drayton after safe delivery of their son

Just like they say, "the reward of marriage is children" and marriage couples are always excited once these blessings starts to come their way.

This could be said about Mike Edwards and his beautiful wife who have welcomed their fist child as a couple.

Days ago, Perri Shakes-Drayton delivered a bouncing baby boy. Fans of the couple have since taken to their social media space to congratulate them.

Mike Edwards who came into the limelight after his participation in the BBNaija season 4, has been over the moon since the birth of his son.

The former Olympian has been enjoying the moment of fatherhood as he has been flooding his social media space with amazing pictures of his wife and son.

This morning, Mike took to his twitter page to post an adorable Dabo of himself cuddling his cute son as his wife, Perri Shakes-Drayton laid on the hospital bed with smile on her face.

He also took time to praise her for the courage and strength in delivering their son, according to him many women die during childbirth but was glad this didn't happen to his wife.

He captioned: "Black women are five times more likely to die in pregnancy and childbirth...To my wife, you’re nothing short of amazing, and I’m so proud to be your husband and twice as excited that you’re the mother to our baby boy. ❤️💙

The reality star also revealed that his wife and son has checked out of the hospital safely as he posted snap of him carrying his son as they depart the hospital.
