M anchester United have continued to revamp their squad ahead of the next season. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer guided the Red Devils to finish third in the league and sealed a spot in the UEFA Champions League for next season.

Solskjaer has been active in the transfer market as he looks to recruit new legs in the attack for Manchester United.

Likes of Jadon Sancho, Jack Grealish and Willian have bern linked to Manchester United in the past few days.

It's understood that Manchester United are set to offload Alexis Sanchez. According ti Goal, the Chilean currently earns a whopping 500,000 pounds per week wage.

He joined Inter Milan on a season loan as way of discovering his lost form. He showed signs of improvement and caught the eyes of Inter coach, Antiono Conte.

It's been reported that the Italian side are close to signing the former Arsenal and Barcelona star permanently.

Recall that Inter CEO Giuseppe Marotta revealed that a deal for Sanchez would be announced on Thursday.

Speaking after last night win against LASK Linz, Solskjaer said post-match, "We will announce tomorrow so I can confirm we have agreed. Alexis enjoyed his time there they have liked him so that’s a good move for him.

“We wish him all the best and he is a top player who we want to see play his best football. For whatever reason we didn’t see the best of him here, but he’s a top professional and we wish him all the best.”

Alexis Sanchez has scored just five goals across 45 appearances for United since he joined in 2017.

It was a player swap deal which saw Henrikh Mkhitaryan move to Arsenal and Sanchez crossed to Old Trafford.
