The FA Cup final went down between Arsenal against Chelsea at the Wembley stadium on Saturday evening.
Chelsea took an early lead in the gsme after Oliver Giroud combined well with Christain Pulisic who finished pass Emiliano Martinez after five minutes of play.
Although the Gunners equalised from the penalty spot which was converted by Pierre Emerick Aubameyang.
Just before half half time, Frank Lampard suffered double injury blow as captain Cesar Azpilicueta and Pulisic were substituted due to harmstring problems.
Chelsea conceeded the second goal off a counter attack from Arsrnal which Aubameyang got his second goal with a tidy finish pass Caballero.
Late in the game, Lampard injury woes continued as substitute Pedro suffered a dislocated shoulder.
Chelsea will now have to travel to Allianz Arena to face Bayern Munich in the second leg of the Champions League round of 16.
Recall that Chelsea lost the first leg 3-0 at Stamford Bridge back in February before the season was suspended due to the coronavirus pandemic.
While speaking ahead of the game, Lampard has stated that Pulisic and Cesar Azpilicueta will not recover in time for the game.
Also, Willian and Kante remain doubts for the clash. Both players missed the final Premier League game of the season against Wolverhampton due to injuries as well as FA Cup final.
