Arsenal have begin to reshuffle their squad ahead of the 2020-21 season. Mikel Arteta came into the team and it seems he settled in as he won a silverware in his first season.

The Spainsh international left his role as Pep Guardiola's assistant at Manchester City for years to take over from Unai Emery in January.

Arteta who had previously played for Arsenal guided the north London side to a eight position finish at the end of season.

He capped his managerial performance with a FA Cup trophy, as Two goals from Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in the final gave Gunners the 2-0 win against Chelsea at Wembley stadium in the final.

Although, it's understood that Arsenal might not be able to bring in marquee signings due to the financial crisis caused by the coronavirus pandemic.

Arteta has taken advantage of some quality players who are available as free agents.

Earlier today, the club announced the signing of Willian on a three years deal on a free transfer.
Speaking about the deal, Mikel Arteta revealed that the Brazilian is a player with special qualities who wants to take responsibility during difficult games.

Arteta said on Arsenal's official website: "It is the character that I want. The kind of player that when things get difficult in the game that wants to take responsibility, wants the ball and wants to win the game for the team."

Recall that days ago, Willian contract with Chelsea came to an end and he refused renewal as the club could agree with his desired three years.

According to Sky Sports, Chelsea were reluctant to give him more than two years due to the club's policy of handling players with 30 years above a year deal.
