Manchester United season finally came to an end following last night's result. The Red Devils were hoping to lift a silverware following their run in the Europa League but all came to an end after loss to Sevilla.
The one legged tie against La Liga side saw Bruno Fernandes scored from the penalty spot to give his side the lead under nine minutes.
But Sevilla pulled the equaliser just before half time from Suso.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer side were punished after failing to take advantage of their opportunities as De Jong came off the behind to grab the winner.
The result meant Sevilla became the first to advance to the final as they await result between Intern Milan and Shakhtar Donetsk.
Although, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer guided his team to finish third in the League which means Champions League football has been secured for next season.
But the manager still remains unhappy haven been unable to win a silverware in his first season as manager of Manchester United.
The players have reportedly returned to England, they were pictured stepping out of the plane as they dressed in their new sweater kits.
