Thiago Silva, 35, agrees two years deal with Chelsea

Thiago Silva will sign a two-year deal for Chelsea this week after leaving Paris Saint-Germain on a free.

The Brazil centre-back has agreed personal terms with Chelsea, although minor details are still left to sort out.

Thiago Silva captained his side in the 1-0 loss against Bayern Munich in the final of the Champions League last night in Lisbon.

Silva had also been offered a two-year deal by Fiorentina, but has opted to join Chelsea rather than return to Serie A.

Meanwhile, Transfer Guru, Fabrizio Romano stated that the deal set to be complete in next few days 

He tweeted: "Thiago Silva to Chelsea, here we go! The Brazilian CB today has accepted Chelsea bid until June 2022. He’s gonna leave PSG and sign for next two years. No chances for Fiorentina. Deal to be completed on next days. 🔵🇧🇷 #CFC #Chelsea #Thiago"
