Recall that Liverpool thrashed Arsenal at Anfield stadium in the first leg last season and Arsenal won the second leg at the Emirates stadium.
Liverpool cruise to the title as Jurgen Klopp side were 18 points ahead of second place Manchester City and were crowned Champions of the Premier League.
When Liverpool played Gunners at the Emirates stadium, many could argue that it wasn't significant as they have been crowned Champions, the game ended 2-1.
Last month, Liverpool face Arsenal in the Community Shield, which the north London side won 5-4 via penalties. It was Brewster who missed for Liverpool.
Speaking ahead of the Monday night clash, Jurgen Klopp has refused to rule out Arsenal who finished eight last campaign as contenders this season.
"They came eighth because they did not have a time to sort the situation," he said, referencing the fact Arteta was not appointed until December.
"They were not the eighth best team in the league, they could've qualified easily for Europe [via the league], if not even the Champions League."
Mikel Arteta was appointed in January as replacement for Unai Emery who was sacked last year.
Arteta guided the team to finish eight and lifted the FA Cup trophy at the end of the season.
Klopp admits that it's difficult to decide which team will lift the title at the end.
He said: "The Premier League and these teams are too good, you can't decide the season before it starts. It just doesn't work like this.
"Man City, I think maybe people thought they could have some struggles at Wolves because Wolves are really good...and in the second half they could have got a point."
The former Bourissa Dortmund boss has won the UEFA Champions League in 2019 with Liverpool after victory against Tottenham in the final.
He added that the Premier League title this season is open, with likes of Manchester United and City, Wolves, Chelsea and Arsenal all have equal chances.
Klopp said: "Nobody is safe from this kind of thing, so we have to work incredibly hard. And over the other teams we have no influence. When we face them, we want to beat them.
"It's an open race, Chelsea will be there, [Manchester] United will be there, Arsenal, Tottenham – these teams will always be there.
"There are tough moments for us and other teams and it's about how you react and are you doing it in the right way."
Liverpool kicked off their title defense with a victory against Leeds United on the opening game of the season, and followed up with a 2-0 win against Chelsea last week.
Klopp further stated that the season is a marathon despite Liverpool having a good attacking options.
"It's a marathon, not a sprint, and you have to go through a lot of moments. I don't know why today we talk about winning the league, I have no idea who will win but I know a lot of teams will try," he concluded.
