Chelsea new stars, Ben Chilwell and Thiago Silva resume training for the first time

Chelsea fans were excited after pictures of their summer signings spotted in training today.

Both Ben Chilwell and Thaigo Silva were at the Cobham training ground of the West London outfit.

It's been gathered that the two stars are getting their fitness back ahead of the new campaign.

Just so you know, Ben Chilwell moved to the Stamford Bridge from Leicester City for a fee of 50m pounds, while Silva,36 years old completed a one year move as a free agent from Paris Saint-Germain.

Silva captain Paris Saint-Germain to the Champions League final which they lost 1-0 against Bayern Munich.

The Brazilian is expected to give Frank Lampard side experience to younger players in the squad haven proved himself for French club PSG, Serie A side AC Milan and Brazil national team.

Also, Ben Chilwell was in good form for Brendan Rodgers side last season which Leicester City missed out in the top four on the final day after their 2-0 loss to Manchester United, as the Foxes ended in fifth position.

Both Chilwell and Thaigo Silva missed Chelsea's 3-1 opening game against Brighton Hove Albion on Monday night.

Frank Lampard will be hoping they are available for selection ahead of Sunday's home game against Premier League defending Champions, Liverpool.
