Friendly: Barcelona 3 vs 1 Girona (Highlights Download) 2020

A double from Lionel Messi and one from Philippe Coutinho eased Barça to victory against Girona in their second pre-season friendly.

Both sides eased themselves gently into the game at the Johan Cruyff Stadium with little goalmouth action until the fifth minute when Philippe Coutinho’s deflected shot came back off of the woodwork.

Directly after the restart, Samuel Sáiz fired home for Girona after a mistake at the back, but within five minutes a deflected Messi shot made it 3-1, thanks to some more intricate play from Trincáo in the build up.
