Arsenal kick off their campaign with a victory against Fulham. The Guuners continued from where they ended as they defeated Fulham 3-0 away from home.

On Saturday night, Eddie Nketiah scored the winner for Mikel Arteta side at the Emirates in a 2-1 win against London rivals, West Ham.

Michail Antonio cancelled Alexander Lacazette opener for David Moyes side who seems to have sealed a point under the England U-21 came on to tap home a cut back from Dani Ceballos.

Arsenal travel to King Power Stadium on Wednesday night against Leicester City in the third round of the Carabao Cup.

Ahead of the game, it's been confirmed that Kieran Tierney's groin injury is a minor one.

Recall that Tierney injured himself in the warm-up during Saturday's match against West Ham. He reportedly replaced by Sead Kolasinac at left-back position.

"Kieran is fine. He had a little muscular discomfort in the last few days. He tried today and worked in the warm-up but he wasn't feeling comfortable today," Arteta said.

"We believed that he was going to be fit but during the warm-up, in the last 10 minutes, he said he wasn't feeling OK. We had to make a decision. We were prepared just in case and Kola came on and had a good game."

Kieran Tierney has been one of the bright stars at the Emirates stadium following his arrival from Celtic in Scotland for reported £25m.

"Tight left groin on Saturday," read an injury update from Arsenal's official website. "Settling well and aiming to resume full training later this week."

Arsenal have also confirmed that full-back Cedric Soares would miss Wednesday's Carabao Cup match against Leicester City.
