Sevilla completed the deal to sign Ivan Rakitic from Barcelona. The Croatian International accepted a pay cut to return to his former club after seven years.
This comes after the Barcelona new manager, Ronald Koeman has stated that "there's no future for ageing senior players in the squad"
Recalled that Rakitic captained Sevilla to glory in Europa League in 2013 before he made the move to join Barcelona where he won the treble of La Liga, Spainsh Cup and UEFA Champions League in his first season.
He has however posted different pictures of himself rocking different kits of his new club as he awaits the new season which is exptected to kick off in September.
