Also, the north London side have been monitoring Thomas Partey of Atletico Madrid, but Arsenal yet to meet the La Liga side terms of signing the defensive player.
Following last night's loss to Liverpool, Mikel Arteta refuse gi confirm whether a player will join or leave the Emirates stadium before the window close in coming days.
"We don't have any news on new players and either with players that might leave the football club," Arteta told a news conference.
"It's a week to go, I think it's going to be really busy for other clubs because not much business has been done.
"Let's see what happens."
Arteta revealed the he expects the final transfer deadline day to be busy for thr Gunners. According to him he's not sure how it will turn out at the end but he remains optimistic.
Arteta added: "I think it will be busy for the Premier League. Busy for us, I don't know how it is going to happen."
