NFF announce Super Eagles of Nigeria 25 man squad ahead of international break in October

Nigeria Football Federation have announced a 25 man shortlist aheado next international break.


The Super Eagles of Nigeria are set for international friendlies against Ivory Coast and Tunisia in Austria next month.

Seven uncapped players namely Mathew Yakubu, Zaidi Sanusi, Frank Onyeka, Cyriel Dessers, Chidera Ejuke, Samson Tijani and Dele Alampasu, who came off the bench in a friendly against Togo which was not sanctioned by FIFA as more than six substitutes were fielded, are part of the group.

French-based duo Henry Onyekuru and Josh Maja, new AC Omonia signing Abdullahi Shehu, Granada's Ramon Azeez and Benfica loanee Tyronne Ebuehi have been placed on standby.

Rangers defender Leon Balogun, Leicester's Kelechi Iheanacho and Alex Iwobi, Fulham's Ola Aina and Everton's Alex Iwobi are part of the selection.
