Transfer Guru, Fabrizio Romano Reveals The Reason Barca Hasn't Annouced Memphis Depay Deal

There reports that Memphis Depay is set to reunite with his former coach at Barcelona.

Recall that Barcelona annouced Ronald Koeman as their manager who left his role as coach of Netherlands to replace Quique Setién.

The Dutch boss has made his intention clear that he doesn't see Luis Suarez as he lead forward ahead of next season.

Ronald Koeman has identified former Manchester United star, Memphis who now plays for Lyon as a possible target.

According to De Telegraaf, Barcelona have had an offer of €25 million plus €5m in add-ons accepted by the Ligue 1 side.

The 26-year-old will become new manager Ronald Koeman’s first signing at Barcelona and could arrive before the weekend.

The Dutch coach has reportedly specifically requested Memphis and he will take over from Luis Suarez as the club’s No. 9.

Transfer Guru Fabrizio Romano states that the deal is set to be completed, although personal terms have been agreed since last week.

Although, Barcelona need to sell some players before the deal can be confirmed.
