Ante Rebić has signed contract until 2025 with Milan, he made his loan deal from Eintracht Frankfurt permanent.

He scored 12 goals last season during his loan deal as he finished as AC Milan highest goal scorer.

After putting pen to paper, the 26-year-old spoke to MilanTV:

How happy are you to have signed for Milan?
“I am very happy to have signed for Milan, I’m happy I was able to prove I have the quality to play here. I’m very happy.”

What can the Rossoneri fans expect?
“When I first arrived last season, I said I wasn’t a striker, that I help the team in other ways. Then I scored 12 goals, I hope I can score more this season.”

The number 12 shirt…
“There is no real reason, I had wanted to take it last season but both 4 and 12 were taken, but now 12 was free so I took it.”

You and Ibra, together again…“Zlatan is a great player, he helps the whole team and has a major effect on everyone, it’s always a pleasure to play with him, but I just focus on my work and doing well in my role, I hope to do even better.”

Do you feel like a team leader?
“We have one leader on the bench – the coach, and another on the field, Zlatan. So there’s no need at the moment.”

Coach Pioli’s trust…
“It was very important but I always worked well and he saw that I deserved a chance. When I got my chance, I did well.”

We restart against Bologna…
“I want to begin with three points, the team winning is the most important thing. If I score, that’s great, but the most important thing is the win.”

The desire to start…
“We had a three-week break, but we always continued to train. Then we started working three weeks ago, and we are ready for the season to begin. We want to pick up where we left off last season.”

What objectives have you set for yourself?
“I don’t have any particular personal objectives, I always want to do my best and play to the best of my ability. For the team, we want to do better than last season and continue winning.”

Your message to the Rossoneri fans…
“I’m very happy to continue my story with Milan, and I hope to see you soon at San Siro.”
