Football fans will be locked to their screens to support their country in this week's international break.

There will be no club football instead countries will be playing various friendlies and qualifiers.

The reports broke on the internet this afternoon that some players of Scotland have tested positive for deadly coronavirus.

But it appears that Arsenal forears Kieran Tierney narrowly escaped despite gabing contact with some the players in Scottish team.

According to the Scottish FA, Southampton player Stuart Armstrong has tested positive test for COVID-19 while on international duty with the Scotland men's national team.

It's been reported that Lothian Health Protection Team in Scotland have identified two players and two members of the backroom staff as 'close contacts'.

The report suggest that Arsenal defender Kieran Tierney and Celtic player Ryan Christie were among the players that had contact with Armstrong.

Also one physiotherapist and one masseur will also self-isolate for 14 days.

Meanwhile, Tierney has revealed that he is lucky to test negative despite having contact with the player.

Kieran said: "I'm so disappointed and frustrated to be in this situation. I have adhered to all regulations and made sure I was socially distancing from my team mates in the hotel. I've also tested negative. I know Arsenal and the SFA are now in discussions with the Scottish authorities to gain a further understanding."
