Bologna were unable to stage a come back as they fell to a 2-1 defeat against Lazio at the Stadio Olimpico on Saturday.
Lazio who have struggled to replicate last season form finally got the break through in the 54 minutes.
Luis Alberto (Lazio) scored with a right footed shot from the centre of the box to the high centre of the goal.
Ciro Immobile (Lazio)who picked up last season top scorer award added the second with a header from very close range to the centre of the goal. Assisted by Mohamed Fares.
The away side pulled a goal back in the 90th minutes, Lorenzo De Silvestri (Bologna) left footed shot from the centre of the box to the bottom right corner. Assisted by Federico Santander.
