Arsenal Boss, Mikel Arteta Breaks Silence On Saka And Willian's Injuries After 0-0 Draw Against Leeds

Arsenal played out a goalless draw against Leeds United at the Elland Road. The struggles for Mikel Arteta side so far in the season. The Gunners have been unable to convert their minds to chances and also so goals.
The Club captain , Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang who is also the top scorer has only managed to score twice after match day nine.

It was learnt that the woes for Aubameyang continued as he only had one shot on target against Marcelo Bielsa side on Sunday at Elland Road. 

Mikel Arteta started the former Borussia Dortmund star in the attack but he didn't get any service up front.

Likes of Willian, Joe Willock and Nicolas Pepe were unable to create enough goal scoring opportunities for the forward.
Meanwhile Arsenal saw two players suffer injuries in the game, as Willian and Bukayo Saka were replaced due to injuries.

Willian was replaced by Reiss Nelson at half-time, and manager has revealed the Brazilian had a muscle problem as he was replaced by Reiss Nelson. 
 
"He was feeling something muscular and we had to take him off," Mikel Arteta said.


Also, Bukayo Saka who came on as a substitute was forced off after a challenge  connect with his knee. 

The 19 years old had a chance to snatch a winner for Arabella who were reduced to ten men after Nicolas Pepe was sent off. 

Saka raced through a pass from Hector Bellerin in the closing stages, only for Illan Meslier to make a vital save to keep the goal at a goalless draw. 

 Mikel Arteta says Saka was in pain after he was substituted but will undergo further test. 

"He was in pain," said the manager.
 
"We're going to have to assess with the medical staff how bad it is, but it looked like a pretty bad challenge and he was in pain so we decided to take him out straight away."
 
The one point see Arsenal are currently in 13th position in the Premier League.
