Frank Lampard shocked fans of Chelsea when he included Petr Cech in the club's Premier League squad for the 2020-21 season.

Although Cech is not expected to be number one as likes of Edouard Mendy, Kepa Arrizabalaga and Willy Caballero are all ahead of him. 

Cech who enjoyed his time with Chelsea from 2004-2015, where he won UEFA Champions League (1), UEFA Europa League (1), FA Cups, English Premier League titles, Carabao Cups etc, before leaving for Arsenal in 2015 where he also won English FA Cup.

The Czech Republic international has been drafted into the team as an emergency back up. 

It's been gathered that Petr Cech returned to action for the Blues on Saturday during their training session.

The international break is currently on going and Cech decided to take the advantage as he visited the Cohbam training ground to keep fit while the rest of the senior players are away representing their countries.

Chelsea football club of England posted on their verified Instagram handle on Saturday that;
