Gabriel Magalhaes voted Arsenal player of month back to back

Arsenal fans have been singing praises of their centre back since he moved to the Emirates stadium in the summer.

It's understood that Mikel Arteta has been working on fixing the Gunners defensive crisis. The Spanish boss moved to bring on Gabriel Magalhaes from Lille.

The Brazilian star joined on a long time contract with the north London side for a fee of around 22m pounds in the summer window.

Gabriel Magalhaes has displayed some amazing performance with his comanding presence during games. He has been able to influence the team and has formed good partnership with David Luiz.

 Gabriel scored his first goal for Arsenal against Fulham when he headed a cross from Willian.

It's been confirmed that he has been voted the club's player of the month of October. It's the second time fans will be voting him as their player of the month.

Gabriel claimed  79 per cent of the votes, while Hector Bellerin came second and 19 years old Bukayo Saka picked up the third position.
