There are reports that Frank Lampard has finally solve his goalkeeping problems at the Club. The Blues have Kepa Arrizabalaga who was signed from Athletic Bilbao for a record fee as the most expensive goalkeeper.
But it appears that Spanish international has been criticized due to his goalkeeping blunders. Also, the Blues have ageing Willy Caballero who doesn't seems to be favoured by Frank Lampard.

The English boss moved to sign young Senegal internation Edouard Mendy from Rennes. The number shot stopper who was brilliant for Rennes last season joined the Stamford Bridge outfit for 22m this recently ended summer window.

He seems to be number one choice at the West London vlub at the moment due to his top form and he has kept five clean sheets which included goalless draws against Sevilla in UEFA Champions League and Manchester United in the league.

Mendy has carve a niche for himself and has been on the lips of fans.

Frank Lampard believes the younger has improved since he joined the Club .

"I am sure he will improve as it is really early days for him at the club he is settling in, still to a degree," he told media per the Chelsea website.

"I am very confident in him and he has shown great qualities so far and I think there is a lot more to come, with his attitude which is key.

"I have seen how he wants to work, how he wants to be and the humility in him - I think he can go much further in many departments."

The manager also hailed his work ethics as he hailed the professionalism from Mendy.

He said: "What I have seen in a short period of time with Edouard is a player that has a massive work ethic to train and push himself every day.


"It seems his personality is pretty laid back with a tough edge when it comes to work.
