When it comes to playing for rivalry clubs some players tend to take it very serious and this could be said about Jack Wilshere.
The English international has dazzled fans at the Emirates stadium during his first season after he graduated from the club's academy.
The bright prospect played the creative role in the midfield of the Gunners as a teenager.
Although, Jack Wilshere wasn't able to display his full potential at Arsenal as he was mostly injured and spent a lot of time on the treatment table.
If you recall that Wilshere spent 10 years at the Arsenal football club. He reportedly made 197 total appearances for the Gunners.
His time at the Emirates came to an end two years ago when he was released by the club.
It was later reported that he joined West Ham in 2018 as a free agent. But he was due to injuries, Jack Wilshere managed only 19 appearances over two seasons at West Ham.
This prompted the club to cut ties with the £100,000-a-week contract early in October this year.
However, Jack Wilshere has stated that despite his emotional ties with Arsenal, he will not play for Tottenham Hotspur who they see as a rival.
The former Gunners made this known to Super 6 podcast that he love thr current manager of Spurs Jose Mourinho but he remains a huge fan of Arsenal.
When asked if he would ever consider a move to Tottenham, Wilshere responded: "I love [head coach Jose] Mourinho, I think he's an unbelievable coach... But I couldn't do it."
Wilshere went on to express doubt over whether he'd ever be in a position to turn down an approach from Spurs.
"They wouldn't have me!" he said. "But I don't think I could do it. It's not as if Arsenal got rid of me and kicked me out and there is bad feeling, they offered me a deal and I wanted to try something else. I'm an Arsenal man."
