Jose Mourinho faces a few injury concerns this evening ahead of Tottenham's Europa League clash with bottom-of-the-group Ludogorets in North London.
Spurs are currently top of their group but with no room to spare, a combination of head-to-head and goal difference the only thing separating them from Antwerp and LASK, who also have since points from their first three games.
But ahead of the game, Spurs suffered an injury blow with Toby Alderweireld ruled out, Mourinho confirming: "It’s bad.
"It's a muscular injury in the adductor. The dimension of course we don't know, we have to wait, but it's a difficult injury for sure
“In the Premier League we have three centre-backs, in the Europa League we don't have Joe Rodon, we only have two, but that's the way it is.
“We don't have anybody to blame. He played in the international matches that the team needed to win to qualify for the final four. With us he's playing so well we decided to play him rather than rest him.
“There's nobody to blame, just to recover as soon as possible.”
Meanwhile, Matt Doherty remains in self-isolation following his positive coronavirus test during the international break and Erik Lamela will remain out until next week.
Gareth Bale and Japhet Tanganga are both in contention to feature on Thursday evening.
