Lewis Hamilton pays tribute to his mother as she clocks a new age

Formula 1 star Lewis Hamilton has taken to Instagram to wish his mother Happy Birthday. 

Hamilton's mother, Carmen Larbalestier, celebrated her birthday on Wednesday.

According to the fast car racer, he described her as the best part of me', and said that he 'feels so lucky' to have her as his mother.

Hamilton's message on Instagram read: 'I want to take a moment to celebrate my mum today. 

'Since the day you brought me into this world you showered me with love, showed me the importance of empathy, compassion and caring for others. 

 

'The unconditional love you’ve shown me is unmatched and I feel so lucky to have a mother as wonderful as you. You are the best part of me. Happy Birthday mum, I hope you have the best day.'
