Manchester City will host Liverpool at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday evening clash. The game is expected to kick off at 5:30pm.

Both managers have revealed their starting XI for the game, which is their first time of facing eachother.

For Manchester City, it hasn't been the best of season so far for Citizens with Pep Guardiola side struggling for goals with only eight goals scored so far.

Although, Manchester City have seen their lead striker Sergio Aguero miss a lot of games due to injury but Gabriel Jesus is back in the team. He has recovered from injury as he came off the bench in their 3-0 mid week Champions League win.

Jesus is expected to lead the attack along with Ferran Torres and Raheem Sterling.

Whole Jurgen Klopp has started Roberto Frimino who many suggested the manager should bench him for in form Diogo Jota who scored hat trick against Atalanta in the Champions League this mid week.

Both Jota who joined from Wolverhampton starts but seems he will play from the midfield as trio of Mohamed Salah, Saido Mane and Frimino leads the attack.

While the Reds welcome back Joel Matip who will partner Joe Gomez at the back. The Cameroon international recovered from injury which has kept him out for weeks.
