The damage was done in the first half as Haaland – who scored a brace - and Hazard both struck to put Dortmund in complete control. Club Brugge played well throughout, but individual errors cost them dear early on and the Belgian side couldn’t recover. This result sees Dortmund rise to the top of Group F while Club Brugge drop to third behind Italian side Lazio.
Next up for Club Brugge is a difficult trip to local rivals Oostende in the Belgian Pro League on Sunday afternoon whilst Dortmund head into a huge showdown with Bayern Munich in Der Klassiker on Saturday evening.
