Germany victory over Ukraine move them top of their Nations League group, ahead of the final game on Tuesday against Spain.
They led 2-1 at the break, after Yaremchuk fired Ukraine ahead on 12 minutes, but Sane equalised and then Werner put Germany ahead.
The hosts extended their lead on 64 minutes, with Werner getting his second of the game with a deflected strike and wrapped up the three points.
However, Ukraine did strike the woodwork three times in the second period, but they couldn't find the breakthrough.
