Arsenal defender Callum Chambers was excited after he returned to action follsling a lengthy time on the sidelines.
The English full back has been injured and he has been out for 11 months. He came on as a substitute for Arsenal in their 4-1 victory against Rapid Vienna on Thursday in the Europa League.
The game also was watched by 2,000 fans following the UK Government approval to allow fans into the stadiums on match day.
Reacting to the fans given greenlight into the stadium, he wrote:
"Last night was full of emotion...
Firstly, it was amazing to be able to welcome fans back into the Emirates!
Secondly, it's been 11 months since my surgery and it was a special moment to be back sharing the pitch with 11 men on it!
A great team performance, we keep grinding"
