Fans of Arsenal have continued to question the club's decision to leave out their most creative player, Mesut Ozil.
The future of the Germany international has been under the spotlight and there are reports he could be sold in January once suitors comes for his service.

Mesut Ozil is Arsenal's highest paid player with a weekly wages of 350,000 pounds but he has a year left on his current deal at the club.

It's been gathered that the former Real Madrid has struggled to find his place in the team since Arsene Wenger left the club.

Just so you know, it was Wenger that convinced Ozil to join Arsenal from Real Madrid for £43 million ($57m) which was a club record fee in the summer of 2013.

Ozil was instrumental to Arsenal lifting the FA Cup that season and he finished the season as the Player with most assist.

But he hasn't been in the team since Wenger left three years ago, Unai Emery was appointed in 2018 and he wasn't able to have a good relationship with the German.

The same is currently happening under Mikel Arteta who reached Emery who was sacked last year.

Mikel Arteta has left Ozil out his Premier League squad for the season.

Meanwhile, former manager, Arsene Wenger has insisted that Mesut Ozil is not difficult to manage.

The French boss went ahead of describe the Arsenal midfielder as an "artist".

"He was not difficult to manage. He was a guy who had a special quality as a creative player and needed to have fun," the legendary former Arsenal boss told ESPN.

"He is an artist and these guys are a bit more sensitive. They need support and an environment that pushes them to give their best."

Mikel Arteta has maintained that there isn't no bad blood between him and Mesut Ozil, but he's not in the team due to tactical reason.

Arsenal have struggled to create chances so far in the season as they are in 15th place in the league standing.

Wenger has hinted on the best possible means to utilize Ozil on the pitch.

"You have two ways to see a football team. You get everybody to do the same. The same intensity of work, the same defensive work or you find a compromise," he said.

"You have a more creative player in the team who can do less defensive work but you build a team around him who can compensate for these deficiencies. That is what you have to think about."

Arsenal will face Burnley at the Emirates stadium on Sunday night. The kick off is 8:15 pm.
