Carabao Cup: Brentford shock Newcastle to seal a semi final spot for the first time in history (Highlights) 2020-2021

Brentford are into the last four of the League Cup for the first time in their history. This comes after they claimed a ein over Newcastle. 

It was a tightly-contested affair, but Dasilva's low strike from just inside the box in the second half proved enough to take the Championship outfit through and eliminate Newcastle at this stage of the competition once again. It finishes 1-0 to Brentford!

Brentford will now turn their attention back to the Championship as they travel to face Cardiff City this weekend. Newcastle, meanwhile, play Manchester City away from home in the Premier League.
