After back to back losses in the Premier League, Chelsea returned to winning ways on Monday night. The Blues hosted their West London rival in West Ham at Stamford Bridge.
It was a 3-0 win over David Moyes side as Chelsea showed class and controlled the game. They ensured the Hammers couldn't coke back despite numerous chances in the game.

34 years old Thiago Silva headed the lead for Chelsea from a Mason Mount corner as they held a goal advantage going into the first half.

Tammy Abraham scored twice in the second half and handed Frank Lampard side three points which took them to fifth in the table.
Although, Chelsea recorded an injury to their full back, Ben Chilwell. The English international was substituted after 10 minutes due to a twisted ankle after his clash with Jarrod Bowen.

He was eventually replaced by Emerson as left back position.

After the game, Chelsea Coach Frank Lampard has confirmed that defender Ben Chilwell’s injury force him to miss the next game this weekend.

Speaking after the West Ham win, Lampard said: ‘He’s a doubt for Arsenal,’ Lampard said.

‘He twisted his ankle in a bad way, tried to plan on but he was in too much pain so we’ll do a scan tomorrow and try to see how bad he is.'

The English boss also gave an update on Recce James. The right back is also injured after he pulled out of the training on Monday ahead of West Ham game.

Frank Lampard has now confirmed that James might require a surgery.

‘While James needs surgery on his knee. We hope both their injuries don’t last long and they will be around for those Christmas games,’ Lampard added
